The Pencils (9) are awarded to the best literary children’s books, the Paintbrushes (2) to the best illustrated children’s books of Dutch illustrators, and the Palettes (2) to the best illustrated children’s books of foreign illustrators. All Silver-winners have a chance of winning Gold, the winners of which will be announced this September.
